We are Isaac, my mom, and my two sisters — a Heredia family with deep roots in the South.
This property belonged to my grandfather. Getting it back wasn’t easy, but we did whatever it took — because reviving his dream was worth every effort.
We left the noise of San José searching for calm, nature, and a simpler life. Uvita gave us exactly that: a beautiful place, full of good people who love and protect what surrounds them.
Every detail in Tropikós was built with care and time. This is our family’s home — and we hope it feels like yours.

Self check-in is available from 3 PM, 24/7. We send the door code the morning of your arrival.

Yes! The kitchen includes an induction double cooktop, blender, microwave, refrigerator, full set of cookware and dishes, rice cooker, and coffee maker. Everything you need to cook and feel at home. ☕🍳
How far is the beach?
Bahía Ballena beach is a 10-minute walk down a shaded street. Playa Uvita and the Whale’s Tail sandbar are 3 minutes by car.
Do you offer airport transfers?
Yes — we coordinate transfers from SJO (4 h) and Quepos (1.5 h) with a trusted local driver. Just let us know after booking.
